Paintings Stolen and Sold at Auction are Returned

Two paintings stolen in New York City in 2009 were located by the theft victim herself as having been sold by Skinnner’s Auction House in Boston in 2005. Chris Marinello, working with law enforcement, managed to get the auction house to unwind the sale and return the stolen pictures to the victim.
